Caring For Your Sunglasses

Once you have invested in quality sunglasses it is important that you take good care of them. Always store them in their case when you are not wearing them.

Do not leave them in your car where they may be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures. When cleaning your sunglasses, it is always best to rinse them in warm water and dry them with a soft lint free cloth. When water is not available, use a sunglass cleaning cloth or soft chamois to clean them. Cleaning cloths should be washed once per week. Mild dishwashing soap can be used to remove oils or hard to clean spots on lenses without coatings. Lenses with coating should be cleaned with special lens cleaners created to clean and protect the coated lens surface.

To help prevent costly repairs or loss, we recommend that you bring your sunglasses in to have them adjusted and tightened if they begin to feel loose or uncomfortable. We always enjoy seeing our patients and it gives us an opportunity to update you on the newest products and latest fashions in eyewear and sunwear while we make your adjustments.
