"I am an employee at Gateway Health Center Family Medicine. I have been a patient of Dr Weyer's for a very long time. I always get good service from check-in to nursing to check-out. I have also always had good service from the Optical Shop. That said, I wanted to let you know about several of your employees in the Optical shop who have gone above and beyond for me lately.  

I have two pair of glasses. This is a necessity for me as I have very bad vision and I can't go without if something happens to one pair or the other.  Several weeks I broke one pair of my glasses and they were only repairable by a jewelry shop.  The jewelry shop said they couldn't guarantee the fix and it would be almost $40. I came to your optical shop and talked with Mary.  She said she would see if she could find a new pair but since they are over two years old and she cautioned that she might not be able to find a new frame.  She called me a day or two later and had located a pair.  She said it would take several weeks to get them in.  They arrived on Friday, November 4th and I picked them up after she put in my lenses.  

I went home that same night and I was cleaning my other pair of glasses and they broke in half at the bridge. As you can imagine, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I came back in on Monday, November 7th and talked with Davey. Davey looked everywhere for frames. He looked thru the frames in your shop to see if my lenses would fit any of them.  Then he started calling reps to see if anyone had the frame that I had that had been discontinued.  

Davey called me on Thursday, November 10th and said he found a rep who contacted another of their reps and they had a frame. He mentioned it wasn't the same color but did I want to come look at a picture on the computer. I went to the optical shop and approved the frames. He told me it may take a week or so.  

The frames came in today and were ready by 2:45.   

I have told you a long story with one very important point.  Your staff goes above and beyond. I just knew I would have to pay for new glasses. As a single parent this would be a huge strain on my finances and going without glasses is not an option.  Please pass along my gratitude to all involved (Kayla also helped) and to anyone else who should know what a great staff you have. I have known this for many years but this was my first experience with Mary and Davey."
